Responsibilities
Performs any of the following duties to assist in surveying land: Holds level or stadia rod at designated
points to assist in determining elevations and laying out stakes for mapmaking, construction, mining, land, and
other surveys
Calls out reading or writes station number and reading in field notebook
Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark
Measures distance between survey points, using steel or cloth tape or surveyor's chain
Marks measuring points with keel, paint sticks, scratches, tacks, or stakes
Places stakes at designated points and drives them into ground at specified elevation, using hammer or hatchet
Cuts and clears brush and trees from line of survey, using brush hook, knife, ax, or other cutting tools
May perform duties as directed by Land Surveyor or instrument operator
May perform one operation and be designated brush clearer, surveying staker, surveying chain helper, surveying rod helper
May perform other duties in main office such as light cleaning/repair and lawn care maintenance
Qualifications
Hard worker
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds occassionally
Ability to handle working outside all day
Ability to walk through jungle and uneven surfaces
Ability to work well with others
Ability to write, read, speak and follow directions in English
Beneficial Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent

Responsibilities
Assist the Crew Chief with daily operations including: Boundary, Topographic and As-built
Surveys and Construction Layout
Work as a member of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way,
and construction surveys for public and private clients
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes,
data collection
Operate the equipment necessary to collect information in an accurate manner and locate
points in the property location for accurate mapping practices
Assist the field supervisor with all aspects of the daily crew workload
Qualifications
Experience with survey equipment and standard survey procedures
Operate standard office equipment such as personal computer and copy machine
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project delivery dates
Detail oriented
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent required
Talk, hear, use hands, fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds occassionally
Beneficial Qualifications
Competence with optical and digital instruments as well as handheld controllers and data collectors
Associates or Technical Degree preferred
1-5 years of experience preferred
Previous topographic and boundary survey experience preferred

Responsibilities
Preparing drawings for all types of survey plats including but not limited to ALTA surveys,
construction staking layout, topographic surveys, rights-of-way, easement and annexation plats
and subdivision final plats.
Basemap creation from various data sets (GIS, PDF, Aerial mapping programs, as well as creation
from scratch using field notes from fielding engineer.)
Creating construction drawing sets for permit acquisition. (Packages include plans, profiles,
restoration plans, site photographs, and traffic control plans.)
Creating project as-builts.
Occasional field survey work
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge with AutoCAD
Experience with Microsoft software: Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong skills using Adobe Acrobat (PDF's)
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project delivery dates
Detail oriented
Valid driver's license
Beneficial Qualifications
Knowledge of civil engineering practices
Experience with computers and networking
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Associates or Technical Degree with a focus in Computer Aided Drafting preferred

Responsibilities
Perform all aspects and duties of a survey project such as boundary, topographic, as-built,
construction, hydrographic, ALTA, GPS control, etc.
Prepare survey work products such as construction sketches, boundary plats, topographic
survey plans, and GPS post processing
Communicate with clients, survey teams, and construction teams on the survey work being
performed regarding specifications, final work products required, and accuracy requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or equivalent
5 years experience as a Land Surveyor associate
Experience with performing calculations, interpreting and generation of construction drawings in CAD
Experience with constsruction surveying including layouts of buildings and roads, and slope staking
Experience with supervision of a construction team
Experience with performing GPS control using static and RTK and post processing
Mastery of Autodesk Civil 3D software for surveying
Valid driver's license (real id preferred or have a valid passport)
Ability to get military base access
